Halo

Posted on: December 29th, 2012 by Peg

Groomers reporting in this Saturday morning at 5am with no new snow. They have been working under a halo as a big ring around the full moon, an amazing optical phenomenon made for a beautiful night. Wind is calm and visibility unlimited with high thin clouds. There is a chance for some light flurries off and on today. Groomers have laid out the corduroy for long carving and cruising  top to bottom. We keep being told how GREAT the snow is!
