8:30 am update: There is a moist layer hanging over the mountain with visibility reduced to 1/4 mile, no wind and temperature holding at 20 degrees F.
Groomers reporting in at 5am are able to see the lights of Kalispell through a thin layer of clouds with clouds above as well. The temperature is 20 degrees and there’s no wind. The forecast is still calling for a Canadian front to move in but the intensity has been tempered and the chance of snow stalled. We have been enjoying a week of sunshine, today looks to be a transition back to winter, enjoyable none the less.
