Sunday 4/14

With rain predicted in the forecast next Friday at 7700′ we have made the decision to call it a season. So today Sunday, April 14th will be our last day of operation for the 2018/2019 season. Thanks to everyone who participated in a very memorable season!

Patrol reporting FANTASTIC conditions! Wind has come up a bit, sun is poking out, snow just stopped falling. We will update when Patrol gets on the slopes. Groomers reporting in this Sunday morning at 5:30 am with snow dumping down, 3 inches accumulated so far overnight. Temperature is 25.6 degrees with slight wind at 2 mph from the southeast. Lights of the valley and stars above have been visible off and on through the night but visibility currently reduced due to snowfall. Feels more like winter than spring up here on Blacktail, come up and enjoy the ride!

With decision made to go to weekends only, we are open this Saturday & Sunday April 13 & 14. Snow forecast during the week came true and we are enjoying more time on the slopes. If the weather and participation hold we will look at extending the season further. Season Pass holders from any Montana Ski Area show your pass for a $25 day ticket the rest of this season.
